Most electrical services advertised in Kuwait are brokers: they take the call, then send an electrician they don’t personally know and don’t stand behind. If the repair causes a short or a circuit dies a week later, nobody answers. At Seyana, the technician at your door is our employee, and the work is recorded under the company’s name.
Most electrical problems don’t show on the day of installation — they show months later, when a loose connection or an overloaded circuit turns into a short or a fire. That’s why we run wiring work as a small project: assessment, planning, and documented execution.
What do you want done? Try to have an initial idea: point count, lighting locations, new appliances. Clarity saves time in the assessment.
Is there space in the distribution board? Take a quick look — if the board is full, additions will need expansion before work begins.
Who handles the gypsum and painting? Wiring needs opening pathways in walls — we can close and paint them, or leave that to your renovation contractor if you’re already working with one. Clarity avoids overlap.
If you’re in an apartment building, check the building rules. Some owners’ associations have restrictions on working hours or the type of work permitted.
Don’t buy parts before the assessment. We sometimes need specific specifications (cable rating, breaker type) that only become clear after actual load testing.
Assessment — We visit the site, inspect the distribution board, check current loads, and discuss the scope of work.
Planning — We prepare a clear scope: new points, cable routing, board expansion if needed, and the parts required with their specifications. Approved before work begins.
Execution — Running wires, mounting boards and sockets, connecting points, and organizing circuits.
Testing and handover — Insulation resistance measurement, earth leakage check, and confirming every point works. Then closing pathways and cleaning the site.
We don’t work beyond the Ministry of Electricity meter. Work on the main network, transformer, or street supply falls to the Ministry.
We don’t cover another contractor’s work that we didn’t carry out or inspect. If we receive an apartment or home with wiring we didn’t install, we start with inspection before committing to any work.
We don’t use cables or breakers below the load specifications, even if they’re cheaper. The difference may not show today — but it’s a leading cause of faults a year or two later.
